TODDLER ROOM

Our Toddler room has the biggest indoor and outdoor play spaces of any centre in Byford.

The outdoor play area extends out from a veranda into a play ground shaded by mature trees and shade sails. Featuring a developmentally designed play structure, swings and a big sand pit, the outdoor area changes daily with equipment specifically selected to enhance the children's development and to compliment the Toddlers programme.

The indoor area has room to move and the layout is designed for fun. The layout provides for plenty of messy activities and the warmth of a carpeted area for play at ground level. An additional room off the main room is used for sleep and rest time, music and dance as well as quiet activities in small groups.

Our Toddler staff have extensive experience in child care. They are well qualified having a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Certificate 3 in Child Care.

Children in the Toddler room experience a wide range of activities, developed by our Qualified staff for the enjoyment of the children. Our programmes are both stimulating and educational with fun and enjoyment a cornerstone.

Children learn through play and many of the activities provided to the children have mathematical and english components so your child is building the foundations well before they reach the school years.
